Then came to the period, where Yamaha focused on Indian commuters and came up with fuel efficient 4 stoke motorcycles like crux, and its variants. Yamaha unsuccessfully tried to break through the commuter segment with libero, fazer, and crux.
But people still believed in Performance of Yamaha Rx 135 bikes, which had to be discontinued because of the emission control norms.
It appeared like,Yamaha went through a testing time, and one enthusiast biker took a decision of starting a Yamaha dealership business.Thus Bangalore wheels Begun its journey on 2006 march 14th.
Initial years were testing time for both Yamaha motors and Bangalore wheels Yamaha.But the time soon changed when Yamaha announced the launch first super bikes Yamaha yzf R1 and MT 01 in India.Bangalore wheels was chosen among the few to sell these super bikes in South India. R1 and MT01 were imported as CBU’S to India from Japan.
With the hype created by YZF R1, Yamaha introduced YZF R15 which was heralded as State of the Art in terms of technology.
Yamaha R15 was designed to ride on race track and was a popular option for racing enthusiasts.
R15 was unveiled in Bangalore wheels showroom by the then MD OF YAMAHA MOTORS Mr. Tomotaka Ishikawa.
From then on, there was no looking back and the next star product Yamaha FZ series.That included, Yamaha FZ 16, FZ s and Fazer. Fz series were designed to tame the city traffic and stop and go conditions.They are perfect 150 cc street bikes.
The Pricing of FZ SERIES Bikes like FZ 16 was priced at 75000/- ex showroom and on road it was 89000/-in Bangalore
Like FZS was priced at 78000/- ex showroom and on road Bangalore it is 91000/-
The touring fazer was priced at 82,000/- ex showroom and 98000/-on road Bangalore.Followed by the Fazer to cater to the touring spirit of the Indian youth.
After the riding on the success of Yamaha R15 AND FZ series, Yamaha launched SZR which was a 150cc commuter bike,that too was received well for the mileage and fuel economy conscious customers.
Then Yamaha moved to the next level of performance with the launching of version 2.0 (v 2.0) of YZF R15 with better profile tyres, sporty and aerodynamic body design.
With all that success Yamaha was still lacking with the family oriented products.They wanted to crack the scooter nut with the Ray.Targeting our Indian women.
In 2012 Yamaha launched the RAY SCOOTERS in Bangalore and Girls, Women and Senior citizens walked to see the RAY scooter in Bangalore wheels dealership, that had so much features, light weight and compact in nature.

To balance the performance and economy, Yamaha upgraded the fz series and introduced Blue core technology with fuel injected engine (Fi) and launched Yamaha Fz version 2.0 ( v2). The fz series version 2.0 is a evolution of original fz series with Improved design and technology which makes it lighter, quicker fuel efficient.
Yamaha Fz version 2.0 fi is priced at 81000/- ex showroom and 91000/- on road Bangalore.
